Lifelong Learning and Mentoring Program
The Lifelong Learning and Mentoring Program offers a variety of learning opportunities for Wisconsin community and public health system workforce leaders interested in continuing their professional development. It provides continued growth opportunities for existing leaders and supports the development of the next generation of public and community health leaders.
UW Leadership Institute staff lead development of this program area. A Lifelong Learning and Mentoring Program Workgroup meets regularly and reports to the Leadership Institute Advisory Committee. In addition, a network of volunteer community leaders provide input on program priorities.
Past continuing education activities have included:
- 2007 Advanced Leadership Skills Enhancement Series entitled, Developing Future Leaders: Who’s Growing in Your Garden?
- Collaborative Leadership Curriculum, Train-the-Trainer Workshop
